animals hanging from the overhang. Seriously. It's a NJ state game check-in place, so people hang their deer outside while they get inspected. No excuse for the dirt floor other than it's backwoods north Jersey.
At my place in upstate NY, you were allowed to bring your own beer to the local watering hole. Some dude would bring a case of Milwaukee's Beast with him. He'd put in on the counter, the bar tender would take it, put it in the fridge, and serve him his cold beer.
I also was able to carp fish off my jetski with a 22 (on the Seneca River) without the neighbors even looking twice at me. BEAUTIFUL area (and the roads were perfect), but by far the most redneck place I have ever been.
